Ever since her songs from Coyote Ugly, I have grown to like LeAnn Rimes a little more each album.
She put out a pop album after that soundtrack, then a dance album in the UK, and now her latest album is back to her country roots. I approve.

At first, I didn’t even recognize her with her hair straight, but then she opened her mouth and SANG the crap out of the song. This girl is completely awesome. I know her father would be proud. She better make top 24!
Seriously? This kid is so good. I hope it hasn’t just been the few songs he has done. He’s another pick of mine for the Top 12 boys. In fact, I don’t know if they are choosing 12 girls and 12 boys again. Anyone know?
He sounds awesome. Imagine how much he will grow vocally as he ages.

I might be one of a select few that think this kid has major potential. He needs to kinda get over his nerves and just go with it, but who am I to say anything. I’ve never tried anything like that. Hopefully he gets further, gets to show what he is all about, and maybe even makes some money so he doesn’t have to live the Into the Wild life in his car anymore.
Here he covers Mika’s “Grace Kelly” very well. He made it his own, he has a style, but maybe somewhat affected by Gavin DeGraw. Either way, the judges liked it.
He didn’t fare as well in the second round of Hollywood week, but he made it through to just before the final top 24 selection. Hope he makes it. *** This is why I shouldn’t try to find things out ahead of time…I read somewhere that he doesn’t make top 24! Hope it is wrong!***
