Randy Pausch Primetime Special Tonight

Bring out the tissues. After Idol Gives Back tonight, ABC and Diane Sawyer bring a special on Randy Pausch. Randy is a former Carnegie Mellon professor that is dying of pancreatic cancer. He has inspired millions with his “Last Lecture” on Living Life to the Fullest. Take a look at this promo for tonight and set your DVR/Tivo boxes.

Biggest Loser 5 – Top 4

I don’t usually post about THE BIGGEST LOSER, but as my friends know, it is one of my favorite shows on television. I do not think there is one reality show that is more inspiring than this one. I tell my friends how much I desire to be on this show, but since I am not big enough, they call me a fool. It’s not that I want to be on the show to lose weight, I want to be part of the show. I want to feel the way these contestants and trainers do. I want to have my butt kicked in the gym by the trainers. I want to learn the right way to eat. I just want to be there.

I wanted to share some pictures from NBC.com from last nights 2nd to last episode.

Ali – Finalist (Has lost 99 lbs – most for a woman on the ranch/campus)

Kelly – Finalist (Has lost 93 lbs)

Mark – Potential Finalist (Has lost 116 lbs)

Roger – Potential Finalist (Has lost 144 lbs – Most on BL history)

Tune in next Tuesday for the LIVE finale. The finalist will have had three months (i think) to lose more and tone up. Winner takes home $250,000.

BB9 – POV – April 8, 2008

Adam is in trouble; the house hates him, except for James. CBS didn’t air any of the rumored business about Adam discussing his Diary Room talk in which he was tricked into keeping James off the block during the first nominations.

Sheila annoys the crap out of me. First off, she hasn’t won anything since she has been in the house. 50 something days of just skating by. BOOOOOOO. She needed to shut up about how she “would never do that to Adam, never”. Come on lady, play the game. I wish she would just miraculously disappear out of the house. It would be awesome if CBS plastered the house with her Penthouse Pictures. Oh man, HA.

So POV. Ryan wins and I want to scream. If he wins the game, Jen is just going to spend all his money. Come to think of it, he doesn’t seem to miss her too much. Hmmm. So he wins the POV and takes Sheila off the block (whyyyyyyyyyyy?). Adam puts James up (big shock, uh no).

Sharon feels safe (as she should). James isn’t going to give up just yet. If he gets evicted, maybe they will bring him back again! Ha, wishful thinking
