Top 7 –> Top 6

And Mariah Week is over….

Finally, the girl next door (with a mustache) has been eliminated from American Idol! Truth be told, Kristy Lee was kinda growing on me and I wasn’t minding her so much. But in any case, I was happy to see that she was going home and that my girl, Syesha was semi-safe.

I guess we came to that time on Idol where they think it would be fun to split the contestants into two groups and then have the one remaining choose which side he thinks is safe. As everyone knows, and now David A. does too, you must immediately sit on the floor in the middle. The worst thing you could do is choose a side. Meanwhile, Carly is in the background trying to usher David to her side. Skank was safe.

So the bottom three were: Brooke White, Kristy Lee Cook and Syesha Mercado. Out of those three, Syesha was sent back to the couches. Brooke needs to shut her horse mouth and stop talking. “You don’t know. You don’t know.” I know, SHUT UP!

Kristy Lee sings the beginning of FOREVER to Simon. Maybe this is when I realized I kinda like her (mustache and all).

Elliott Yamin was there to sing his song FREE. He did a decent, but very anxious performance. I must attribute it to the fact that his mother passed away a week or two ago. His hand read, “WE MISS YOU MOM”.

 

Mariah looked hot hot hot. Sounded eh, eh, eh. Oh, and her backup singers screeched something insanely obnoxious. FIRE HER! I have decided that Mariah just needs to belt every song because frankly, that is where she sounds best.

I am going to avoid talking about ONE SWEET DAY because I wanted to vomit through most of it.
