BB9 – April 23, 2008 – HOH and Elimination

Tonight on Big Brother we find out who won the HOH competition last night and I believe someone is immediately evicted from the house, leaving the Top 2 in the Big Brother house. INTENSE.

This season has flown by, but not without its intensity and crazy moments. At the beginning, I hated it. I thought they were ll a bunch of sluts and I didn’t want to continue. I stuck with the show and begun to like them and enjoy their ridiculousness. And now that we are at Top Three, I do not like it any longer, but I have to continue for the last two episodes.

Here comes the non-exciting almost conclusion of Big Brother 9. Lets hope July 13th brings a great new season with possibly a friend of mine! Here’s to hoping.

Well, it looks like Ryan and Adam had the plan to get rid of Sharon right before the eviction. I guess Sharon was more of a threat than Sheila. Good choice.

Ryan wins the final HOH and pretty much deserves to win the $500k. Ryan votes out the broken-down (or as Chelsia would say, RODE HARD) Sheila. Sheila cannot believe it, which is lame in my opinion. She had to have realized that she had absolutely no game.

Sunday is the finale. Then I can wash my hands of this season.

Top 6 –> Top 5 Elimination

Before the show: What is going to happen folks?! Ideally, I would like to see Brooke White leave. Or maybe even Jason Castro. Those two are vocally not ready to continue with the others. As we all know, I do not want to part with Syesha yet, but if I must, I must.

I have to admit that I fast forwarded through most of tonight because I had too much television to watch.

Not surprisingly, Syesha was in bottom two. Carly joined her (kind of surprising). Ladies and gentlemen, I think my 30 (and my friends 10) votes helped keep SYESHA in the competition.

Carly Smithson is off of American Idol. It sucks when people get kicked off after a good night though. It really should have been Brooke or Jason’s night to go. But, this is how it works.

Side note: After re-watching Syesha’s repeat performance from last night, I am upset that Carly didn’t have the professionalism to shut the crap up and stop talking to Ryan. Seriously, Carly talked to Ryan through all of Syesha’s performance. The cameras even documented it. Ugh. BYE!

I have no idea why I never searched for this before. Below we have the debut video of none other than Ms. Carly Smithson (pre-marriage and tats). What a nice little cheesy pop song, but definitely not surprised it didn’t catch on. Sounds almost like Wilson Phillips.

Nasty Words

You know when you are talking to someone about random topics and a word comes up that just makes you cringe. This word isn’t necessarily meant to be disgusting, but just the sound of the word coming out of someone’s mouth conjurs up all these images that you would rather not recall or visualize.

We all have our lists, but I think my top three “nasty” words are:

Crusty

Secretion

Moist

What do you think? Nasty? What are your “cringe” words?

Handkerchiefs…How do you spell that?

I think that handkerchiefs are a gross concept. I understand that we should be as GREEN as possible and all with the state of the environment, but last I checked tissues were biodegradable and fairly inexpensive. Plus, when you use a handkerchief you will eventually have to use electricity, water, detergent, etc to clean them. Give them up please.

So on to the story, Handkerchiefs are NASTY. Let me put this piece of cloth in my pocket, just in case I have to sneeze or hock up a lung later. When I have to sneeze, I can just use this piece of cloth, fold it back up and put it in my pocket for my next sneeze or snotting! GROSS.

I’d rather sneeze on my arm or someone else for that matter. Those are my two cents.
